I am a reborner. I have been reborning for 5 years and still love watching an ordinary doll come to "life". I do a lot of custom reborns where someone gives me a pic of their baby or grandbaby and I make the reborn look like the pic. I'm very interested to know who you bought your reborns from.

I just recently tried this art and finished my first one. I'm not totally satisfied with it, but I'll learn as I go.
I've started gathering a few cheaper dolls to practice on and, hopefully, will get better.
I've been too busy to start on another one, but as soon as I get my painting in the house done, I'm going right back at it.
There are a lot of tutorials online and I've joined a few Yahoo doll groups who can be very helpful if you have any questions.

I know someone who creates the reborns, and think it's just amazing how they look, and feel. If someone didn't know better, or wasn't close enough to them, they would swear that it was a real baby!
They aren't all that easy to make tho. Takes a few days (mostly because of paint drying) to get every thing done, and even longer if you hand punch the hair. They are extrememly worth it when they are finished tho.
