Birthday, for me, is very significant. We celebrate birthdays because we remember the very first day we were born. It reminds us how long we are living our lives. It makes me more thankful about everything that has happened to me in the past years, same as anniversaries. It makes us mindful of the days that we spent with our loved ones.

To share happiness with loved ones, who have been taking care of us for long. Specially to thank our Mother, and God, who have been supportive all the time. There is nothing comparable to the Mother. Plus one becomes conscious about the age he lived and he/she may analyze as to what the person has done good to his/her family and society.
Above all, it is more of a reassuring love between concerned people.
