why do we start liking or wish to have a gf or a bf ?

I got a girlfriend . n i really love her , but somedays back my mom had told me that we actually start liking some1 maybe because we dont get proper love from our parents ... i dont think thats true cos my parents really love me n i noe that ... pretty confusing ... whats ur view on this

I don't believe that. The love of a girlfriend or boyfriend has nothing to do with lack of love from a parent. They're two different things. It's possible to have the most wonderful, loving parents in the world, and still desire the companionship of a romantic relationship.
