Is EGG vegetarian or non vegetarian??

i'm still confused whether egg is vegetarian or non vegetarian. there are people who strictly avoid it ,saying that "its a living thing ".But some vegetarians consume egg by saying that it is not a non-vegetarian.
Anyone here to justify your answer. ??

I'm a vegetarian and I eat eggs. I see it as neither vegetarian or non- vegetarian. Others try to give me hell about being vegetarian by saying I shouldn't be eating eggs.
1) I don't think it matters and it's a discussion that'll never really be solved.
2) If you're a vegetarian and you see egg as "meat" or whatever, then don't eat it- simple as that. It's your own perception.
And please, don't give others hell about it- especially meat- eaters. You're only being a hypocrite, an idiot and just abusing another person.

i think it is non vegetarian! you don't have to kill the chicken for it, and the egg is a left over right?
if you don't eat the egg, the egg will rot and you can throw it away.
