There is a news story about American Idol being racist. I just watched a program tonight on 48 hours where a man says he is charged with a murder because he's a specific race. (they had DNA evidence mind you) My husband is hispanic, so I am not racist, but I am noticing that people are playing the race card more and more. It's as if anything goes wrong for them, or if they don't get something they want, immediately there is someone somewhere crying racism. Is this something you've noticed and how do you feel about it?

I think the whole "Race" thing should be eliminated from the human vocabulary, instead people's ancestors could be from China, or Africa, or Sweden or Mexico or Cuba or whatever. And instead of yellow, white, black or brown, people would be light, or dark, or not as dark as. I dunno, that's just me, why can't we all accept the fact that we are the HUMAN race!

that is my point exactly.. if everyone (including the so called minorities..I hate using that word) stopped using the race card, assigning blame due to race, etc. we would all get along a lot better.
