When you go to the washroom do you spray air freshener after your done? Instead of leaving a lingering odor? As well.. Do you think it's appropriate but also respectful towards others in the house.. To spray after you are finished? And do you think when people don't do this.. That it shows a lack of respect for the people whom they live with? Do you try to be courteous around the house by doing things such as this?! . . I'd love to hear how you feel about people who don't spray after they are done in the washroom. And if you think by spraying it's being respectful of others.. Or if you don't spray it's showing your being discourteous of the people who you live with? I'd love to hear your thoughts as well as what you do around the house.. To be courteous to the people who you live with! . . Thank you all for sharing with me! xx

I don't since I am staying with my family. It has been decades and somehow everyone is just used to everyone. Well, in a way. :P But then again, I have an air freshener installed the toilet that sprays automatically at regular intervals (opps, is that cheating?). If I am staying with strangers, well, I guess I need to take a more active stand in ensuring that the after-effects do not offend! I remember back when I was staying in the boarding house - then, we did throw in an air freshener to use after our toileting. :P

Ha ha this is one of the most original topics I have yet seen here in Mylot-Funny! Well, yes I do spray after I leeave the bathroom, and I do if I notice my kids have gone in there too and it needs some refreshing. But if my kids are gone, or at school, I usually don't spray it for just myself. LOL. The bathroom is at the back of the house and the living room/computer room is at the front-so it doesn't bother me any :)

Where I grew up we all had exhaust fans in the bathrooms. This helped with the odor problem but it didn't eliminate it immediately. It does cut down on the noise though!! They don't seem to like these fans in the UK. I have yet gone into someone's home that had one. If they do not have an air freshener, then I will light a match. It works just as well. We have one of those that is on the wall next to the loo. I am quite picky. I want everyone to use it when it is necessary. If they do not, then the ordor seems to follow them into the next room. There's nothing worse than a lingering odor when you are trying to eat dinner. If they refuse to use it, then I will use it for them. course that usually means that I need to hold my nose before going in there.

that is an interesting post babyhar..i do it a bit differently i spray an odor when i am in the washroom not after because i found out that this helps better then spraying after you are done i recommand you to try this:) i can not stand the situation that people are not aware of that they should spray..i mean don't they realize there should be a good smell in the house no matter if there are people in it or not:)
