It's bettter to give than to receive.

Since I was a child, my parents always tells me to be a cheerful giver. They always tell me that it's better to give than to receive. I believe with we should be thankful for all the things that God has blesses us throughout the years and I think we should share some of it to the other people who are less fortunate. So what's your view about it?

Hi, yes I get more pleasure out of giving than receiving, and especially when you give tp those that are less fortunate to us and just to see the thrill and expression on their face makes me feel so good inside. I agree with what you are stating here.
