I have got a Dell Inspiron 4000 notebook pc (Laptop). But I am not satisfied with its batterey performance. Even after getting fully charged, the battery lasts only for about 15-20 minutes. I think this might be because my Laptop has become a bit older.
Are you satisfied with your Laptop batterey performance?

I have always found laptop batteries to be very unreliable. The performance is usually god initially, but tends to depreciate at a fairly rapid rate. I always use a power cable with a laptop and consider that despite the fact that laptop batteries should perform better, this is the only practical approach.

I have a laptop computer with an AMD Athlon XP 1500+ Mobile CPU.
When I bought it in 2004 its battery lasted about 1h 30min, but now no longer works.
So I'm not satisfied of my laptop battery.
I know that Apple batteries last very much,: depending on the type of laptop that can last from 4h to 5h.

I suspect that you are not holding an original dell battery. Either that or that battery is already very old or used. Laptop batteries are never good to use since they 'spoil' easily. If you don't want to run it on electricity (or you can't), you have no choice but to get a new battery.
