Why are most of MyLotters worry about earnings and ratings?

Everytime I log-on here in MyLot, I'm being welcomed by discussion such as "How can I get my ratings up?" or "How can I got to do to sky-rocket my earnings? Are there strategies?". Most of discussions here in MyLot is always about this. I think MyLot is not supposed to be gamed to earn a lot of money. I think most people should start discussions better than this.

jUST why are you here on mylot?
To earn money thats it so everyone here is to earn money and everyone want to earn as much as possible and thats the fact of life if you ask me.
So its not wrong if someone wants to earn more or wants to know the way of earning more...

what im trying to say is that, there are too many dicussions discussing the same thing. I'm not against it or anything.

I agree I think that some think that they are going to make alot of money here but I think that it is just pocket change.I dont worry about my ratings or my earnings I just here to make friends and have fun meeting new people I have a real job for my money this here is just fun money. that is how I look at it. I worry about why I get no responses to my questions. I think they are well thought out questions for the most part, but generate very little or no answers. I don't really care about the earnings, I came here because I could get paid for doing something I was doing for free on another site, but not solely for the $$. I do care about my rating though. I had a very high best answer rating on the other site, I like to be informative and give good answers, so my rating does matter to me.
