i got the red star and number 9, wow!

First of all, I would like to say congratulations on your red star and your 9 rating. Keep up the good work. I stayed at a 9 for a very long time and was a 10 for one day with a blue star. I finally got back up to a 10 star rating somehow and have managed to hold on to it for a few days now. I try to post to quality discussions and make a good decent response to them with some length also. If you keep posting to quality discussions and try to keep posting responses with a little length to it, your star will go to a blue 10 soon. Congrats on getting the red star and number 9 rating. Good to see it's made you so happy. I would say though that the rating and star number seem to go up and down and I've seen some posts started by people whose rating had gone down from a 10 to say a 8 and they were quite upset. Best to concentrate on writing some quality responses and starting some interesting discussions rather than get too hung up about the overall rating as it could be upsetting if your rating goes down which I assume it will do from time to time as you can't please everyone here all of the time. Congrats again. :)

congrats, i would just like to ask how does the star color rating go? like which of those colors is better and which is not, also the numbers... is it when the higher the number the better or vice versa?

I used to have a red star but yesterday I was not on at all and my rating slipped to an 8. Congratulations on reaching the 9 red star.

i too got a nine rating tday and am overjoyed as well! ohh man, the number 10 star beckons! for a long time i had been vacillating between the 7 and the 8 stars and it feels awesome to finally climb up! i was ecstatic when i loggen in today and saw a big, fat red shining star against my name. this gives me so much more motivation and the desire to go for the big 10. thanks to all those who helped me get the 9!
