Celebrity adoption, fashion or philanthropy?

Angelina, Madonna and many others adopt children from other places and countries. While the celebrities themselves may want to help, a child brought up in an alien culture and background will always face the trauma of fitting in even as an adult.
It would always look at itself as different from the rest and feel lonely just as it feels the eyes of others looking at it as something alien in their environment.

I think it depends on how young the child adopted is and how the adopted parent(s) treat the child. If the parents raise them to understand both their birth culture and their adopted culture it can be great. These days the world is a small place.
