hospital... ever had an experience lying on hospital bed?

i feared of going to hospitals even when i was a kid. but i find myself lying on the hospital bed one morning. that's when i was diagnosed with rheumatic fever. wow, it was my first time ever in the hospital. and since then, i became a constant visitor of any hospitals in the country.
how about you? any experience of confinement?

I was in hospital for a week. I get Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever. But the hospital in my city is quite good. It's one storey building with each room ahead directly to a huge garden. It was fun, and I realy like being there. But I son't wanto to ill.
Wow, if you're a constant visitor of hospitals then you may have member card and you got a lot of discount right? LOL

hi neoknights. Dengue comes from mosquitoes, right? I do hope you wont get sick again as it was really hard. I've been a constant hospital visitor because my mom suffered from cancer. And since I have rheumatic fever too, i need an injection evry month. Actually, i have my health card and our company paid for it, gosh, without it maybe i will just stay at home and try to cure myself without the doctors help. :)

I was in the hospital yesterday for a colonoscopy! LOL When you turn 50 and you are a male, doctors recommend a colonoscopy to prevent getting colon cancer. It is an easy procedure and you leave the same day. Takes only about 45 minutes for the actually colonoscopy. Yesterday was my second one. I had one a year ago and they found one polyp which they removed. They wanted me to come back this year to see if there were any more. They found nothing this time! :)

Yes, i had such an unfortunate experience, a few years ago, in the winter of 2004 if i'm not mistaken, when i had Meningitis. I layed for a little over 3 weeks in a hospital bed, i realy don't want to remember those times... fortunatelly now i'm whole again :)
