No, I don't use any mosquito nets when I sleep. In fact, there'd be no place to hang the net. And if I were to use a net, yeah, it's feel like sleeping in a tent because it's all around you. Kinda creepy, though.
Last time, to kill off mosquitoes and just to make them run away, I'd light up the mosquito coil. Now, I'm not using it anymore. I just apply Tiger Balm when mosquitoes bite me or kill the little Draculas with my bare hands.

Haha! Would Tiger Balm really help? It never did for me. And i don't really like the smell of it. But talking about killing the little draculas with your bare hands, you'll just end up not having enugh sleep because there's too many "little draculas" to kill in a night! LOL!

where i live, mosquito menace hasnt come to such a head that mosquito nets are required...and thank god for that! i simply wouldnt be comfortable sleeping under any such thing! the mosquitoes are taken care of by the good ol' coils and repellant creams, if the need arises. we also have frequent spraying of the mosquito killing medicine during the periods when mosquito breeding is at the peak. i have never slept under a net till now and have always wondered as to how effective they are. i mean, while entering and leaving the tent, dont some of the lil bugger sneak in? how does it all work?
