how much does a package of smoke cost in your country??

well i was going to buy a package of smoke this morning
and i noticed that this bad habit cost me 19 shekels..in dollars it is about 5$ thats alote for a bad habit..
do you smoke? how much does a package of smoke cost in your country..
and can you recommand of a creative way to stop this bad habit?

Beyond the health costs lets talk about money
If a pack of cigs costs $5 and you smoke four packs a week that is $1040 a year. Now think if someone gave you $1000 what would you do with it?
If the same pack cost $6.50 and you smoke four packs a week that is $1352.
If a carton of cigs cost $24.50 and you bought two a week that is $2548 a year.
Now for fun let's figure if you smoked for 15 years that would be $15,600 / $20,280 / $38,220
That is a lot of money folks think of what you could do with that instead burning it up.

happy mom thank you but believe me i caculated and yes i prefer not to waste money especially on a bad habit
and i also stated here that it would be great if i'll stop smoking again but for now i am smoking and i am wasting that money..so thanks for the care but it is really hard to stop smoking

I will keep holding a good thought that you will be able to overcome those cigs. I know that they put terrible things in them so you become so addicted. My father-in-law is battling cancer and even though everyone has explained that if he doesn't stop smoking he will die in the next year or so. We still catch him lighting up. I know he doesn't want to die he just can't fight the addiction and the cancer at the same time.

I pay $7.25 for the discount smokes and regular smokes I think are just over $8. I can't remember when smokes were last $5 but it was along time ago. I remember when I first started smoking I was only paying $3 a pack.
And I wish I knew a way to quit smoking. I've tried many of the different product out there to help quit but still haven't been able to. I think it's got mostly to do with willpower and I just don't have any.. lol..
