Which one is best to make commercial software?

i wanna make a software related to Medical store
so is C good for it or i have to make it in VB language ?

I would prefer you should do in the language which suits you. You should be comfortable. You should not face any struck down. But if you ask my opinion I would built it in VB Language, as i a feel comfortable in that.

Ya you should design your software in the language you feel comfortable. But if I had to make such a software then I would use VB with Oracle and connect them to develop the software.

I suggest you do it in the language you are most comfortable and proficient with. Further, if VB can do the trick, why both with C? You might consider Java too since it is now pretty much the most popular language.
