What are some easy flowers to plant this spring?

Well you don't say in what part of the USA you live, so it is difficult to give you advice. I would suggest, in the spring go to a reputable garden centre and describe the location of where you want to plant, full sun, shade, partial sun etc. Then ask them to suggest low maintenance and easy to care for disease resiteant plant.

You don't mention what area you live in, so it's hard to say - and my thumb is more brownish-black than green anyway. The only flower I've attempted to plant were impatiens, and they did quite well here in southern Virginia. I just planted them and watered them, and they grew and thrived on their own.
Ditto the suggestion of asking at your local garden shop what is easy and appropriate for your area, though. I'm sure they'll know what they're talking about. Good luck!

Thanks for the tip. I'm in zone 5 so they should grow good here too.
