Will you sell your stamps collection? For me, I will only sell if I have duplicate stamps. If not I will prefer to put it into my stamps collection.

Hello mic_tcs..... I have been buying and selling on ebay a little over three years to thin out some of my duplicate items and so I can buy material that I interested in. I also offer free and trade items to help beginners and to get some covers/envelopes from many countries. Check my discussions to see my offer of free items if you are interested. Tom

I am selling a collection of Philippine stamps and stamps from different countries including their duplicates. I am looking for a buyer who wants to buy my whole collection of postage stamps. Franali 42

Tere's nobody around that buys stamps anymore... I've never sold a stamp in my life. When I grow old I'd rather give my stamps or sell them only to someone really interested in collecting.

I mean there is nobody buying stamps around me, in my country, not worldwide.

Yea, there is. Once in last year, I saw a small kid buying stamps in a stamp exhibition. So there are still people out there who buying stamps for their collection. I think whether you interested in collecting or not is depending on whether you continue to collect stamps once you start this hobby. Some just stop halfway, but some never stop ever since their primary school. SO for those who buying the stamps, I don't think there's problem about it as some of them are really interested in collecting stamps.

I tried to get my daughter interested in collecting stamps when she was still in elementary school but she never really took an interest in it. I spotted several packets I bought her when I was cleaning out the storage unit and actually considered selling them but didn't have a clue as to how I would do that. LOL

LOL, yes, attention to detail was not one of her strong suites. :)

Sometimes no matter what we do, the person just won't have any interest in collecting stamps. But if the person really interested in stamps, he will just start the hobby without anyone telling him to do so.

Ebay is a good site to sell your stuff. Will recommend you to create an Ebay acc to sell your duplicates. Maybe you can also try the Ebay discussion here in MYLOT.

I've never tried to sell the duplicate stamps,so far, I prefer to exchange with others or just put them in my stamps album because I enjoy looking at my stamps collection. However, it is good to make money from selling the duplicate stamps.

Hello luna_sea.... If you are interested in stamps check my discussions for my offer of free stamps. If you are interested in trading other stamp material I would very much like some items of mail/envelopes from Indonesia. I am trying to collect mail items/envelopes from all countries. Would you like some material from the US for your collection ? I have sent a request for you to add me to your friends list so that I can send you my address. Please let me know what you think. Tom
