Its obvioulsy sad when you walk past a man/child/woman laying on the street with newspaper over them, trying to keep warm. You wish you could do something a little more than toss a few coins, but what ARE you going to do? I thought it might be a good idea to ask for suggestions for helping the poor. My roommate is a big supporter of ending poverty and is starting a group to do so. She has already done a lot like getting several big time speakers to talk at a conference. Anyway, I figured it wouldn't hurt to get your ideas on ending poverty. Maybe we can put them together and come up with an amazing idea! Please, any ideas are welcome. Maybe I can pass them on to my roommate and she can get it started! =)
