Hello,
I know there have been several discussions on this topic already, but I just got my first published piece on AC. As several others on myLot have done, I am asking for you to read the piece and rate it. And then add me to your friends list at AC. Went over and read and rated your article (5 stars) on whale watching. It sounds great; I would love to do this, even though I get a little green around the gills (seasick). They also have whale watching around the Cape Cod area in Massachusetts during certain seasons (fall, I think). What a great experience. That's what I love about AC. There are always great articles there. You did a good job with yours.

I went over and read your article and gave it a 5/5. I love movies and enjoyed the review on Associated Content. My question to you, however, is why would you subscribe to friends that then only offer then a 4 out of 5 stars? I always give my friends 5/5; otherwise I can probably do better from random strangers reading my posts. If you are a good writer, why wouldn't your articles deserve 5/5 stars?

I'm just saying the absolute lowest you would ever get from me is a 4. More than likely you would always get a 5. I am a good writer and make my living as a writer, but not every piece I write is a home run. And I don't expect automatic 5's if a piece doesn't deserve it.
