Do you beleive in love at first sight?

I believe you can't really love someone until you get to know them. You could look at them and fall in love with the idea of what they might be like, but that isn't really them... Its just a physical attraction ..! Nothing more than that..

I believe in infactuation. I believe that you don't fall in love, you grow to love. Even parents don't fall in love with there children at first site, they fall in love during the growth of that child in the womb.

I don't see how you could truly love someone at first sight. That would be like sitting down with a book of photographs and falling in love with one of the pictures. You wouldn't have a clue as to what the person was like. Maybe he or she has a cruel streak, a controlling attitude, is stingy, hates children and animals, etc. True love only comes when you learn to know a person well, and that cannot happen with a first meeting, or even a dozen meetings. I think one of the main causes of divorce is that people don't learn to know the person they marry before they commit themselves. They just like the idea of being married.
