Are you lucky??

I don't think I really lucky but if i really said that i'd be lying. There are times when things happen that just can't be coincidences. I have never won any lotteries or raffles. One thing that did happen that might be considered luck is this: On my seventeeth birthday my parents got me these turtles earrings (i LOVE turtles) and I thought they were the best things in the world. The first day I wore them was a school day. Out of habit I always touch my ears to make sure the earrings are still there. Well I left my sixth period class (out of 7) and walked to my next class. This girl comes up to me and tries to dangle my earring but I pulled back and told her to go away in a nice way. As I was walking through the gym (a short-cut) I touched my ear out of habit and my right ear had NO EARRING!!! I was very very very angry all of a sudden. It was the first day I'd worn them and I LOST one of them. So I went to my next class and was going to go hunt down that girl that messed with my ear but the bell rang. That entire class period was torture! Just so you know how stressed I was- that whole week we had finals and exams and it was really stressful. Ok so before the class ended I managed to talk my way out of leaving early to hunt for my earring. I looked in the grass and EVERYWHERE I thought it could be but no earring. I went the last class I was in (sixth period) and asked the teacher if she had seen me with an earring. To make this long story shorter than the full length story- teacher didn't know and said have a great weekend and good luck fiding it. I left the portable (trailer thing) and as I was walking down the ramp somoething flashed in my eye and my EARRING was there!!! It was squished but I found it!! What was weird is that it was the last day of the week of streeful exams and when I left I could literally feel the stress going away. I don't want to be cheesy but when that happened I thought it was almost a sign of something. It couldn't have been a coincidence. There are also times when I play a game like pool or something and usually I really stink at it but there are times when the other person doesn't even get to SHOOT!!! So I do get lucky but not big time lucky- just enough to make a difference.

i think luck is only part of everything. just like you winning the art competitions - it maybe lucky, but it can also be talent :) ive won a few competitions from radio, newspapers and have recently won a handphone late last year :) but sometimes, i think it's the desire to 'win' or desire to be 'lucky' that gets us lucky! warmest regards QuaChee http://www.quachee.com http://www.batikinspirations.com http://www.quachee.blogspot.com http://www.batikinspirations.blogspot.com
