Is this a possiblity?

When I have a house with the woman I will send the rest of my life with, I want to have my own space that is filled with my things. Pretty much my own room that I would decorate with things that may only appeal to me. We would still have a bedroom together if that was important to her but I would still have my own space. What would you think if your significant other wanted to do this?

If you can afford it, it is an excellent idea especially if you have hobbies. Your wife also will need a room for herself so be prepared to purchase a large house; as the children with be forthcoming and they will need bedrooms.

Well if I were to be with someone they'd have to like the same things I do since I surround myself with them throughout my days. Every guy needs a personal space to do his thing. It's a basic component in the nature of male mammals, so it shouldn't come off as too weird or requite much discussion.
