Only 1200 calories!

I just joined sparkpeople.com to help track my nutrition and fitness to help me lose all this baby weight that I still haven't managed to get rid of. They say I need to only eat between 1200-1550 calories per day! Until today, I never realized how many calories I actually consume. No wonder I can't lose anything. The site is great. It's free, it has the nutrition info of tons of common foods and brands, gives you meal plans and exercise routines, if desired. I recommend it to anyone thinking of or trying to lose some weight or just be healthier!

I've been using Sparkpeople for just over 4 months and have lost 20 lbs! I too have a 1200-1550 calorie limit.
It is enlightening to track your calorie intake isn't it? I found it to be a great site to learn more about me. I've adjusted my program as I learn.

Sparkpeople has a lot of good information, but be careful. I found their percentages to be a little off the mark for me. Also, be sure to involve yourself in their discussions, they have some really great ones and the people are very helpful. Good Luck with the diet and lifestyle changes...
