Router Troubles! / myLot

We just got a new router so we can have ADSL on 2 computers in this house and 1 next door. I can get online fine (hence I can write this!) but I am having a problem with LimeWire (it says "cannot find stable connection") and also with another program I use, which connects me to the internet. Anyone else had this problem? I would ring the helpline but am living in Spain and they don´t speak English! My Spanish isn´t that good.

i did have the same problem with my router before you have to setup the router to allow certain ports which limewire needs. you should see the router manual how to do it.

More then likely the router has a built in firewall. You'll have to adjust the settings. There should be a way to access it and then adjust what is allowed and what isn't or to lower the amount on the firewall. The only other thing might be to try changing the port that LimeWire uses but not sure how to do that.
