Due to the ongoing fight between the different browsers, we were bound to test some of the most prominent like Internet Explorer 7, Firefox & Opera.
Opera boast of being the fastest browsers & true to its boasting it does open pages faster. The reason for it being using a large cache size. Main advantages being using less memory & having Voice control support. It however lacks plugins or Widgets (extensions) support. It does have pop3 mail support.
Internet Explorer has a popup blocker which tends to stop only 50% of the popup ads, as nowadays spammers have come up with ingenious ways to override the popup blocker. It is fast to open webpages, but prone to hacks & microsoft has admitted that it has still some loop holes which needs to be plugged. The only good thing about it is that it comes integrated with Windows OS & thats again a bad thing as to reinstall it, you will have to load the windows setup disk.
Firefox boasts of a hack free surfing environment & comes with a lot of free plugins (widgets) to make your surfing a great experience. It is also endorsed by Google and many other companies which are just learning the true potential of Open source technology. If there is a bug, which is rare, the solution is provided in real time as there are millions of programmers who provide support for free. The only problem is, if you install a lot of extensions, firefox may tend to use a lot of memory. Overall, it is the best browser i have ever known.

If you know any other browser worth mentioning, please post here & let us know your opinion about these 3 browsers also.
Cheers!

I use to use Internet Explorer at lot but now I barely touch it. It seems to never block pop-ups like it is suppose to. I use Firefox about 98% of the time. It works really well and blocks pop ups. I never had a problem with it before. I have rarely used Opera but it's not too bad.
Another internet browser one could mention is Safari, but I know a lot of people that hate this browser.

I would voice your same opinion. One more thing, if i am not mistaken, Safari is only available on Mac OS & linux OS.
IF you want to download the latest Firefox browser, or a lot of other goodies, please do visit my website http://sifar.ueuo.com
