Holy homicide, Batman! Captain America is dead! Assassinated, in fact, as he walks into a federal courthouse in New York, under arrest and in handcuffs, headed to his arraignment for refusing to sign the government's Superhero Registration Act and forcibly revealing his true identity.
I have always enjoyed comic books even have a few that are worth some money so when I saw this today I was a bit taken back. Captain America has been a part of the comic book world for 66 year and it was a bit like receiving news that a family member had passed away.
Are you a comic book reading if so what are your thoughts on the passing of Captain America? Does Marvel Entertainment Inc. have something up their sleeves and will be pulling a marvel rabbit out of its hat and bring the Captain back?

I was on his side the whole time "Civil War" was going on. I love the Cap. When it comes to leadership in Marvel Comics, I will choose Captain America over all of them. This is a sad time for everyone who really loves the Cap. I know that he has been killed before, but let's hope that this time we will all find out later on that this was just a mistake or a misunderstanding. It came at a really bad time of course. America is at war in Iraq, and when we were in WWII, who better to bring us out of our misery than Captain America. Captain America fought the Nazis in WWII, he was America's great hero and now, we have no hero. DC's Superman is not our hero, he is not mine, and to those who say that he is, better ready "Infinity Crisis" before saying that again. Back to Marvel Comics. Iron Man is now the head of SHIELD and he is looking more and more like the bad guy everyday. The Superhero Registration Act? It is as Jean Grey said in the film "X-Men": "People can have a license to drive, but not to live." Superheroes are people just like anyone else, the only difference is their abilities. Should these people really be told not to save someone who is really in trouble? I should think not. Iron Man is making Dr. Doom look good. I never thought that I would say that. If there is two men that I have always dispised in Marvel Comics it has been Cyclops because he is too pretty for Jean Grey (Jean needs a dirty boy, we all know that) and Dr. Doom because he has way too much power. Anyway, I hope that this will all blow over soon.
