I used to do the same thing, I was never hungery. I went to the doctor and he told me that I was healthy and if I dont feel like eating dont. He told me if I get hungery enough,I will eat. And he was right after a while I started to eat more and more, and I feel really good.Maybe you should see your doctor and tell him about it. Then go from there.

Am a retired nurse but anything I may say I always back up with....go see a doctor! Depression can do it as have experienced it in the past maybe try and have milk drinks with Milo added or something with nutritional value, but also go see the doctor! :) caramello.

Meg I am like that but if you are worried about it then go and see your Doctor again, it could be Stress as I lost a lot weight through Stress and I mean a lot. So please see your Doctor if you are really worried. I have never been a big eater, so to me that is normal. But when I didn't eat at all I went to my Doctor. Try eating Yoghurts or some sort of Snack in between.

i dont tell you to see your doc megan, that was said so many times before. try to eat a bit of fruits and fresh veges, only a lil bit. that helps too. i think your problem settles down as soon as the "big day" arrives. after that, it needs a few days to get used to a peaceful home with no stress and fights. i pray for you sweetie and still do count the days ;-)

Online doctors. How true. Lol.
It is probably the stress ( depression, unhappiness) that is causing you to eat less than usual.
Your comment to post no. 14 stated that you drink enough milk and juice. These two beverage have natural sugars which would be why you don't feel that hungry. Try eating cereals with your milk. You are looking after a toddler. It takes a lot of energy to look after a child, do house work and cope
with your life. These activities will make you lose weight.
Were you naturally slim?

I could be many things and I think you should seek the advice of a doctor. It just could be your metablism too. And if your stomach has shrunk then its only use to eating a small amount of food. You might want to try eating alittle bit more to stretch it. Now get to the doctor.LOL

1. Drink water
Water is quite possibly the single most important catalyst in losing weight and keeping it off longer term.
Water acts as an appetite suppressant by keeping your stomach full and fending off dehydration which can lead to false cravings/hunger.
Water also helps your body metabolize stored fat by helping the kidneys flush out waste. When you don't drink enough water the liver which works to provide stored fat for energy helps the kidneys eliminate waste and becomes less effective at metabolizing fat.
Drinking water ice cold burns about 62 calories a day. Your body has to work to raise that waters temperature to your body's temperature. This equals around 430 calories per week.
2. Eat regularly
This means eating 5 times a day and the most important meal is breakfast.
Make sure you fuel your body first thing in the morning to avoid hunger pangs later in the day.
When you eat 5 times a day you will never feel hungry, make sure the total calories consumed are sensible and don't over eat in any of the meals learn portion size control!
3. Eat lots of fibre
Eating adequate fiber foods to help keep things moving through your bowel. And like water, fiber rich foods bulk you up and make you feel fuller for longer.
Fibre is found only in plant foods our bodies cant digest it to so it simply goes through the body. During the elimination process it cuts calories consumed by attaching to protein and fat that you eat along with it removes that as well
In addition, high fiber foods are typically low in calories and filling, so you are reducing your calorie intake overall.
Good fibre foods include: strawberries, apples, figs, chickpeas, potatoes, (with skins) broccoli, brown rice, beans, bran and nuts.
4. Consume more good fats
There are good fats and bad fats
Good fats provide you with essential fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic acids) needed for normal reproduction and growth, as well as for production of prostoglandin, a hormone like compound that regulates blood pressure, prevents blood clotting and lowers the risk of heart disease.
For example, the reason oily fish is a great food stems from the fact that the essential fatty acids which it contains can actually help your body burn fat more efficiently and protect against disease. Get at least three portions of oily fish a week with Salmon, mackerel, herrings and sardines being good choices. 5. Get plenty of quality protein
Quality protein is an effective weight control tool because of the satiety factor and its ability to keep you full for longer periods. It also balances out carbohydrates by preventing insulin spikes that cause energy loss and sugar cravings
Protein helps to maintain muscle mass which is important in the fat burning process.
Good choices include:
Fish, shrimps, Low fat cottage cheese, low fat yogurt, skimmed milk, egg whites, s Weight gain is caused by consuming too many calories, whether they are from carbohydrate, protein or fat.
6. Carbohydrates can help you lose weight
Don't believe what you read about carbohydrates being bad for you, they can actually help you lose weight!
A diet containing good carbohydrates such fruits and vegetables, wholegrains and moderate in fat and calories, will result in weight loss
Good carbohydrates will also help you combat hunger pangs as they are slowly realized into the body.
When eating carbohydrates eat them "from the earth" with no refining or processing.
These include whole grains, vegetables; fruits and beans.
Sensible weight loss
If you have read the above you will see that it is not the food group, but the quality of the food in it that's important for fast weight loss.

It could be any number of things, hopefully none of them serious. However, until you get in to see your doctor, which of course you KNEW you should do, please get yourself a nutrition drink to make certain that you are getting some nutrients and vitamins in you. I know there are quite a few on the market, a brand name that comes to mind is "Ensure". Good luck.

Have you been feeling depressed lately? Stressed? If you said yes to either of those, that is your reason. i can't tell you how to eat more other than to smoke pot, but for many people (like for me) that is not an option for any number of reasons.

Seriously hon, if you're struggling to eat then you NEED to go see your doctor right away.
This could be a sign of a very serious medical condition and it definitely needs looking into whether it is or it isn't.
I have no idea what could possibly make you not want to eat or anything. It's very unusual and really quite worrying.

i think you should visit a doctor a soon as possible. you probably have an eating disorder. as you have said, your sister's boyfriend says you are very thin. which means, that you are not getting any proper nutrients in your body. drink lots of liquid like juices and milk and take your dose of multi-vitamins would be a suggestion.

if you are bothered and can afford, just see a doctor so you'll have your peace of mind. people said that im so thin so i see a doctor and he told that im pretty well, and nothing is wrong, because of so many comments like im thin, i was worried that something might be wrong. but at least consulting a doctor makes me less worried with their comment.
and as long as you dont feel anything wrong with your body, weakness or nausea, i guess what you are eating is just the food that you need. maybe you need to work out or sweat a lot, so you'll feel the hunger more often than not doing anything.
i hope it can help. god bless
