why do we need religion ..?????

I know religion can be a very touchy subject and I would never want to offend anyone, this is not my intention but I really do think Religion should be more a personal inner thing and not out there as it is as I feel there is a lot of misinterpretation of the books that were written so long ago, and I really think if the whole world would only think the love, caring for others and making the most of the precious gift of life that we have been given really is the only thing that matters.

No one needs religion, but everyone needs a relationship with God. If we turn our backs on God, we will drift further and further from the rules he has set up for his children, and eventually we will end up in hell, rather than in the Heaven He has prepared for us. I would hate to have no God in my life. There are times in life where we come to the end of our rope and have absolutely no place or no one to turn to. If we know God, He will always be there for us. Check it out in His word, the Bible and see if I'm not right.
