plot holes?

yes, i think about it the first time i saw this film. But even the heat from those people couldn't keep them alive, i think. What else way you think would keep them alive?

I don't really think it nessasary kept them warm as we think of being warm. I think it just kept them warm enough to keep them going. As someone else stated the room being shut off like it was helped conceal the heat really well and they were constantly throwing whatever they could on the fire to keep it as big as they could. Some people did huddle together too. I really like the movie too. It was really thought provoking.
