I agree, a smile even when you really don't feel like it, sometimes will lift your spirits, and bring a smile to others....no one likes to be around someone you is down all the time, or complains about everything and everyone.

You might be right. I have trouble letting go of the past. It effects everything I do and say. I keep trying though. I just can't figure out a way how.

Yes, this is true. When somethings happens, like hurt feelings, we allow bitterness to set in our heart. Not a first, at first we are hurt, that hurt builds. Then we get offened, offense against others builds into bitterness, and we refuse to forgive. Unforgiveness in our hearts is something God says is wrong. Forgiveness isn't always an easy thing to give but if we want peace inside, we must.
This doesn't mean we have to have coffee with those who have hurt us, but it release their hold on us...so we can move on an be happy regardless of what they are doing, or saying....

It isn't so hard to be happy. Always look at the brighter side of things. Be optimistic.Don't dwell on life's imperfections. Happiness is a choice,so if you want to be happy,BE HAPPY.

You're right doreentduran. Maybe because that things that make us sad are valuable to us. And letting go would be very hard. A friend once sent a txt message to me saying "strive to be happy, it is not just a feeling,it's a choice".
