The day the devil went to Church

The devil walked in and everybody in the congregation got scared and ran out, except for an elderly 76 year-old gentleman. The devil walked over to him and asked,"do you know who I am". The elderly gentleman replied,"yes". The devil said,"aren't you scared," the elderly gentleman replied," No,I've been married to your sister for 48 years".

I have heard a similar story. I thought this is it. The last reply in the story I heard is that "I have been with you eversince," which shows that even in the church, the devil is there, also worshipping God with the people of God. The devil is often in the place were the people of God are to tempt them. The devil doesn't tempt those who already belong to him. He knows that they are his.
