Great, that's exactly what you should do. The school's hands are tied these day's. They can't discipline kids like they could back in the day. They need to bring back the board. One good butt stinging swat from some of the male teachers that I had and I guarantee you would behave. Nobody's kid deserves to be bullied.

I get so tired of bullies. They were around 40 years ago when I was in school and it looks like nothing has changed. It is time for parents to be made responsible for the actions of their kids. It is up to parents and teachers to spot these ones who do the bullying and do something about it.

What I would like to know is if this happened at school. If it did, what is the school doing? We are in the age of zero tolerance and if it did not happen at school, at the very least, make them aware of what is going on so that they can keep their eyes open. After you filed charges, did one of the parents call you? I'm very interested to hear some more particulars.

How is your son? That bruise looks awful! I hope the police make a example of that young punk. I hate bullies. My kids have had thier run ins but they were never hurt like your son. I am glad/happy that you pressed charges. Good For You!
