What are steps you take after your computer stops responding or don't boot

I just want to know...the steps you take the pc to running condition.do u like to hire a technician...May be i help u here....

I have windows xp installed..so I will try to restore the system to previous state.in case it would not boot...hire an tecnician.

The first step I would take is to check the power line. Maybe the plug to the power source is pulled off accidentally. And if the plug didn't come loose, I will check the transformer at the back of the computer. Once I determine the problem arises from the transformer, I will take the machine to the computer mechanics to have it repaired.

I am using Laptop and when computer stop running and its not getting normal with the help of Task Manager, I will replace my Battery Pack in the Laptop and attach it again and I will Start the Laptop

I'm an impatient person so if my PC stops responding, i reboot after a few seconds (i'll wait for a few seconds just in case it comes back to life) But if it doesn't reboot, here's what i usually do: for my laptop: - remove the battery, replace back then restart. (this usually does the trick) for the desktop: - check all cables - check the memory; re-seat RAM - reboot. If this doesn't work, i ask my boyfriend. LOL! no need to call a technician, as he's usually better than most of them. ^___^

Reboot again, if it still doesn't load, get into Windows safe mode and then just shut down. Turn it back on after 5 minutes. Hopefully it fixed by itself.
