My parents and some of the elders said that we should not take the Holy Communion if we haven't confess yet...and sad to say I'm guilty of that...Even i did not take confession, I still received the Holy communion, do you think it is wrong or right??? Is it really necessary???

I think this is more of a Cathloic standard. Tell me where in the bible is this stated. Anyhow communion is between you and God. If you have faith and follow Jesus then you should be fine to take communion.
Funny true story: A teenager goes to church for the first time. He sees the communion trays passed and takes 2 cups of juice and pieces of bread. He thought they were a small snack!

Don't feel bad. I would kindly ask them to show you wehre this is stated in the bible. Discuss it with them and find out why this is. It might help rectify the issue.

If someone commits a sin that is a mortal sin, or a sin that weighs down on you heavily that you need to talk over with a priest and you have other sins as well, even just venial sins, then from what I understand that is another sin to receive Holy Communion without going to Confession first. If however, your sins are minor and you have thought about them and you have made a personal Act of Contrition to yourself if you don't arrive on time for Confession there is a part of the Mass where we as the parishioners are absolved of our sins as a whole when we recite a particular prayer some time before the Eucharist part of the Liturgy, so then it would be permitted to recieve Holy Communion without going to Confession. But, as Catholics we are required to go to Confession at least once a year. Many Catholics go during the entire year so that we can be absolved from our sins so they don't accumulate so much sin that we get out of the good habit of going on a regular basis. Thanks for asking a very good question. God bless.

Look God knows exactly everything that you do right?
This is an institution, but only Godknows the heart of a sincere person. Tell God in advance of every thing you have stuffed up on and i'm sure He won't mind in partaking in the holy graces. Ofcourse respecting traditions is good but i don't quite think it is a criminal offence lol..

Well, I guess it depends on asking the quesion, wrong according to whom? To the Church and their rules, yes it would be wrong. However, keep in mind that these are all man-made rules, none of which were commanded by God or are even listed in the Bible anywhere, so make your decision on whether it's right or wrong based on this knowledge. If you are a devout Catholic and want to follow the rules set out by the Church and the Pope then I would go to confession. If you are like me (an ex-Catholic) who has problems with the man-made rules and dogma of the religion, then don't.

im referring in general....yeah coz i believe through prayer we can ask for forgiveness but the priest told me that it's like in hospital there are surgeries that can be cure through medicines but some are needed to undergo an operation just like sins not all sins can be forgiven through prayer we need to put an effort by having a confession...I don't have any problems with man-made rules wat matters to me is that I believe that God exist...

I'm not a Catholic, I'm a Christian. But there are parallels in the Catholic and Christian beliefs.
If you believe in the Bible, then what your parents and elders thought you were all true. A person should not take the communion if one has unconfess sin/s.
The only difference is the Catholic confess their sins to the priest. The Christian confess his/her sins to God.
The Holy Communion should not be taken lightly. It is true that God knows your heart. But there is a saying that ignorance of the law excuses no one. Its like participating in something that you do not fully comprehend.
I'll give you an example. If you play basketball you have to follow the rules and you must know how to play the game. And if you commit a foul you are penalized.
The Holy Communion is much serious than playing basketball. You must know why it is being done, how it should be done, and when not to participate.
