I don't know which ones to trust and which ones not to trust, so I just ignore all of them. I'm much more interested in marketing my own writing than in doing something that is probably a scam or a pyramid scheme. Those sites aren't for me at all.

I haven't heard of many of such companies which really pay for such easy work. A lot of such companies are fraud and they ask you for some initial amount and something like that.. you do their job and when it comes to your payment.. you realize what a fool you were! I dont think you showed any stupidity by trying that online job, but the next time when you go for anything like that, first get all the details and make sure that the work you are going to do is your cup of tea!

Most of those jobs are scams, even though they might be recommended to you. Be careful. Fo starters, do not pay any money to get a list of potential employers. It does not matters what they say, one time fee, registration fee etc. The money you pay goes to the scammers. Legitimate employers do not ask for a fee to give you work.
