I have been having some issues with my husband for a while now and am trying to decide when enough is enough. We can go for week or more without talking and I am getting tired of living this way.

I knew when we got tired of each other just argueing all the time. I got tired of him threatening me and calling me horrible names and comparing me to his sister he hates. So I guess my answer to you would be when you can see their is no love in the relationship, and you know that there will never be love again.

Hi. Though I'm not married (yet), Ive been listening to many xtian radio shows and reading books about marriage and avoiding divorce. The primary thing they say is that one of the partners needs to make a decision to 'save' the relationship. Do you still love your husband? If you do and want to change things, there's a way.
I've learnt that men and women communicate differently and we all have a love language- the way we best receive love. You two most probably have different love languages. Find out which one is your primary and his primary one from this website and commit to practising your husbands even if he doesen't reciprocate at first. www.fivelovelanguages.com/30sec.html
I've also learnt that men respond to respect and women to love. This other resource (and book you can get from your local library) will give you more info www.howwelove.com
I hope this and other resources like counselling help you and your marriage. don't give up till you've tried everything. God bless you!
