I gave birth last july 2007 at the first 2 days of being a mother it is very tough since the hospital's new policy is to breast feed the new born babies.I gave birth in a public or government hospital and they don't allow feeding bottles inside so they inspects the bags you carry before the delivery.I really wanted to breastfeed my daughter of coarse but at first there's no milk coming out of my breast. I pity my new born child because i know she is really very hungry already and yet i dont have anything to give her.I called my mom to come and see me and she told me that she will go w/ someone who knows about breastfeeding. The person she came along w/ is her friend who massage my back and my chest and after 1 or 2 hrs the milk came along. After 2 months i came back to work and continuesly breastfeeding my daughter until now.She is just 7mos. old but she seems 1 year old already because she weighs like a 1 year old kid.She also has the ability to catch up things very fast.for a budget conscious like me it's really a big help because you can just spend the money to other things instead of spending it for milk. I am very happy that i experience breastfeeding and i have proven that it is the best milk we could give to our children. How about you gals,do you also experience breastfeeding?and how does it affect you and your budget?

I was wondering what hospital you gave birth at. I will be having another baby in October and want to know so that I can avoid it. I nursed both of mine and plan on doing it with this one but don't want to be forced and plan on pumping as soon as possible.
