Looking For Sausage Recipe

Does anyone have any recipes using pork sausage..The breakfast sausage? It doesn't have to be a breakfast recipe. Thanks

INGREDIENTS * 1 pound lean ground beef * 1 pound pork sausage * 2 ounces sliced pepperoni sausage * 1 green bell pepper, chopped * 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped * 1 tablespoon minced garlic * 2 onions, chopped * 2 carrots, diced * 2 stalks celery, chopped * 1 (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms * 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce * 2 (14.5 ounce) cans diced tomatoes * 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste * 3 cubes beef bouillon cube * 3 bay leaves * 1 tablespoon dried thyme * 1 1/2 tablespoons dried oregano * 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil * 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes * 1 teaspoon ground black pepper * 1 tablespoon white sugar * 1 cup beef broth DIRECTIONS 1. In a large stockpot cook the ground beef, sausage, pepperoni, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, garlic, onion, carrots and celery. Cook until beef is no longer pink. Drain into a large colander to drain grease. 2. To the large saucepot, add the mushrooms, tomato sauce, tomatoes, tomato paste, bouillon cubes, bay leaves, thyme, oregano, basil, crushed red pepper, black pepper, sugar, and beef broth and stir well. Pour the meat mixture into the pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover. Simmer for 2 hours.

Eggerie Borritos Cook 1 lb ground sausage until done. Set aside Drain excess grease from pan leaving just enough drippings to cook 2 small diced potatoes until golden brown and crisp. Then toss in half a dozen eggs and scramble under medium heat then add all the other ingredients. In the meantime heat up to ten soft tortillas in the microwave and fill with sausage, eggs and potatoes, chedder cheese and taco seasoning. Roll up into borritos and serve warm.

Hey lois i always make beans and sausage in the crockpot if you want the recipe i can email it to ya its easy just throw it in the pot and back on the computer you go til supper time lol

here are some recipes for you Italian Sausage Lasagna ( lighter Recipe) 2 hours 1¼ hours prep Change to: servings US Metric 1 lb bulk reduced-fat Italian sausage 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup) 1 clove garlic, finely chopped 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil leaves or 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves 1 teaspoon sugar 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can whole tomatoes, undrained 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce 12 ounces uncooked lasagna noodles 1 (15 ounce) container reduced-fat ricotta cheese 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves 2 cups shredded reduced-fat mozzarella cheese (8 ounces) 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese Cook sausage, onion and garlic in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring occasinally, until sausage is no longer pink; drain. Stir in 2 tablespoons of parsley, the basil, sugar, tomatoes and tomato sauce, breaking up tomatoes. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally; reduce heat to low. simmer uncovered about 45 minutes or until slightly thickened. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook and drain noodles as directed on package. Mix ricotta cheese, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, remaining 1 tablespoon parsely and the oregano. Spread 1 cup of the sauce mixture in ungreased rectangular baking dish, 13x9x2-inches. Top with 4 noodles. Spread 1 cup of the cheese mixture over noodles; spread with 1 cup sauce mixture. Sprinkle 2/3 cup of mozzarella cheese. Repeat with 4 noodles, the remaining cheese mixture, 1 cup of the sauce mixture and 2/3 cup of the mozzarella cheese. Top with remaining noodles and sauce mixture. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella chesse and 1/4 cup parmesan cheese. Cover and bake 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer or until hot and bubbly. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting. here is another recipe Sausage Balls Recipe Courtesy Paula Deen 28 min 10 min prep Change to: servings US Metric 1 (1 lb) package ground sausage 3 cups baking mix (recommended — Bisquick) 4 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese 1/8 tablespoon pepper Dip 1 cup mayonnaise 1 tablespoon mustard Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a baking sheet with vegetable oil cooking spray. Combine all ingredients in a large glass bowl. Mix well with your fingers. The mixture will be very crumbly. Form into 1 inch balls, squeezing the mixture so it holds together, then rolling it between the palms of your hands to form balls. Place the balls on the baking sheet. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. To prevent sticking, move the balls with a spatula halfway through cooking. To make the dip, combine the mayonnaise and mustard. Serve with sausage balls. here is another recipe Another Sausage and Pepper Recipe 1¼ hours 15 min prep Change to: servings US Metric 6 bell peppers, sliced into thin strips (3 red, 3 green) 2 garlic cloves, minced 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 1/2 lbs sweet Italian sausage, sliced into 1-inch pieces 4 cups tomato sauce 1 lb rotelle pasta, cooked and drained 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded Preheat oven to 350°F In large heavy skillet, saute peppers and garlic in hot oil until peppers are tender. Remove with slotted spoon to large bowl and set aside. Add sausage to pan and brown thoroughly. Remove with slotted spoon and add to bowl with peppers. Add tomato sauce and cooked pasta and combine. Tip mixture into 9 X 13 inch baking dish. Bake 45 minutes until heated through. Sprinkle with parmesan and mozzarella and bake an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted and golden. Remove from oven and allow to sit 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy with crusty Italian bread and a salad. hope you liked it
