After getting kicked out of Champions League, what do the gunners feel of this season which again promised much and delivered nothing? Who do you think are the culprits and what do you think Arsene Wenger needs to do for next season?
Cheers!

culprits? i wouldn't say it as culprits but we do have some underperformed players. henry's top the list. he seems to lost some goal-scoring touches and is constantly bug by injury. both wingback doesn't play well defensively. ebou for example does make some assist upfront but defensively, he does has problem closing down winger. the same goes to clichy. sanderos is the next on the list. he has been with us long enough but for me, has not mature enough. if we look at our 1-0 or 2-1 losses, some of them are from marking misjudgment from him.
player performance aside, i can say our style of play is predictable. yes, we do play a more beautiful football compared to our rivals it is the result that counts. that's why we lost to some mid-table team. they defend deep and wait for counter-attack.
for next season, i hope wenger sign some tough wingback and central defender. and maybe change our style of play accordingly. i think adebayor can play in drogba's role if we want to play the chealsea way.

I think a wasteful Henry is a big reason... And yes Eboue does leave a hole everytime he moves forward...
Let's hope that Arsene does take a look at this area, but traditionally all Arsenal defenders have been English who are strong and tall. In the current lot, they don't seem to have enough muscle power at the back.
Cheers!
