Dreaming of visiting USA and a few questions about staying there.

I am dreaming of visiting United States of America someday. The questions are : How much money should I prepare to go there? Can I travel alone in the United States? Is it secure or not if I do the travel alone? Can I have a guide book which I can use as a travel guide during my staying there? What is the behaviour of American society? Are they friendly or enmity? I am a true moslem. Are there quite enough mosques so that I can do my regular prayer five times a day? Similarly so, I need to know the informations about Canada and all the cities in the country.
