proper etiquitte on Mylot

I need your oppinion ! - oppinion need, my lot etiquitte, any ideas?, please help

I am new here on my lot and enjoying it very much. I have read the guidlines and spent time reading other peoples posts on do's and dont's regarding Mylot but I'm left confused about one question I have. Is it right or wrong to thank a fellow Mylot user for selecting your response as "the best". I'm not here for the money (allthough it is a bonus) but rather to share oppinions with people I otherwise wouldn't have the chance to hear from. I don't think anyone selects a "best response" with the idea their doing someone else a favor. On the other hand, it is in my nature to say thanks...even for the little things. Is it poor etiquitte to thank somoene when you recieve "best reponse", or should we all stick to our values and say thanks.

Great question, and it's something I have often wondered. My rule of thumb is if they left a reply to my response then yes I say thank you for the honor of best response, if they left no reply then I don't. :) Hope that helps!

Thank you...that's a good way to decide. I wouldn't have thought of it but I guess if the person takes time to reply to your response then we should take time to thank them if they grant you best reponse.
