In India, these days the IT Job market is so good that all people think about these days is money. I am just curious to get to know what is it that you look for in your job? Is money the driving force or is there something else that drives you? Cheers! Ram

Life is like that. When you starts to work, you are young and energetic and your dreams is to clim up the ladder and be somebody. As it progress, you notice that the energy level drops and starts to think for a goal - buy car, house, hobby. Naturally, you will need money and therefore work for money rather satisfaction of the work. Later stage when you are more commited, you will need more money to survive and naturally the hunger for money is there cos you will think money is something a must in life to survive.

True. It is a vicious cycle. But, of late, I am seeing that as the buying power of money increases, people are beginning to look at other things like job satisfaction. But, it just seems to be happening at the exit level of most people's careers rather than at entry level. Cheers! Ram

Used to be job statisfaction for most of them and that is what employer would like to hear cos when this happens, productivity increases. If one is retrenched, he will think security and make more money, nevermind if it is a odd job.
