I really love Melinda Doolittle

I 100% agree with you. It's funny that she's got the most talent on the show yet she seems to be one of the more timid personalities on the show. Lakisha is the same way; she always looks so scared to me after she's finished singing. The one thing I've always said is that she's got the perfect persona for the show. She's a natural performer, as evidenced by her performances the last three weeks, and she's also very confident as long as she's got the microphone in her hand and she's singing. Right now, she's the best in the competition.

Melinda has been very wonderful to listen and watch sing as she has a great voice, great smile and personality. She definitely brought the show back to life last night at the end. I think Melinda will be one of the last few remaining as she is better than most of the girls and better than all the guys. Hopefully she will make it through tonight.

Melinda Doolittle rocks!! Her rendition of My Funny Valentine is just incredible. But ,as in previous American Idols, the most talented will get voted off. Not that she needs American Idol to succeed. American Idol is more a take-off platform for her. http://www.emigrestudio.com/?p=355

I do agree with you, she has such a GREAT voice and she is definately been waisting her talent beeing a background singer. She is a wonderful person - or atleast seems to be and I do belive that her beeing this shy will also be in her favour.

Melinda is not only the best of the girls, she the best overall I think. Lakisha is a close second for me. These girls are not only talentd but they are so humble..its refreshing! I don't always agree with simon (sometimes he's TO harsh) but he was bang on with the arrogance comment. I will truley be shocked if America votes Melinda off before the final 3. Oh how I wish Canadians could vote. I don't get into Canadian Idol to much.
