I was born having a congenital heart disease. I was very thin since I was a kid. But I am very active in many things, unlike those who the have same problem with mine. According to those people who know me, it seems like I really don't have a heart problem. I can run, play games actually I became an athlete in my school when I was elementary, a badminton player. I'm acting like a normal child. When I was already in my teenage life I am very ashamed because I am very thin I became underweight. Because of the heavy duty in school I get tired easily and that mades me decide to have a heart suregery. before admitting ti the hospital,my mom and I to church to ask for a spiritual guide. The priest open his dress and show his scar on his chest and said,"look i also got operated in heart but look at me I survive I am old,but you, your very young just pray and be brave!" He tapped me on my shoulder. and I was very surprise to know that. I got so much courage from that priest. when I'm on the hospital we go to the chapel, one old lady come near me and gave me a piee of red ribbon that has a word on it "Red Blood Cord", and she told me to wear it and i did. The homile that time was Jesus was using some people to be His instrument for helping other people. my heart neats fast and I cried, realizing maybe those two persons, the priest and the old lady, were used by god to tell not to worr because my operation will be succesful. and thanks be to GOD my open heart surgery was definitely succesful. now I'm living my life with God the center of it....

Good for you!! It sounds like you have truly overcome your challenges. I have visual and physical challenges that I barely notice anymore. A few people around me are aware of them but they really don't slow me down. I have learned to live with them.

Thanks for such an inspiring story. It give me encouragement bec I also have a congenital hear disease. But as for me, I never felt I do have one. My friends won't even think that I'm having that kind of illness. My family is more worried than I do feel for myself. I always feel strong, I never feel weak nor discourage. When people ask me why I do have such kind of positive outlook in life, I have only one answer: It's God who strengthens me. You inspired me w/ you story, I hope I was also able to impart to you my views. God bless!

Congratulations to you. I am happy to hear that you are healthy now and you survive from your operation. God indeed make things that are good. God has many reasons why he gave us such illness or things in life. He knows better than us. He gives what is best for us. And we should listen to him always. He is in our heart. I think God made you survive because you still have a purpose and mission here on earth. I hope you will listen to his word. God luck and happy living!
