Where did the dreams of having a family go??

What has happened to all the big families, and big family dreams go? It seems like families are getting smaller these days and very out of touch wit one another .Have we become so involved in our jobs and careers that we have forgot about our dreams of a happy and strong moral family.Where have the family values values gone? Or perhaps i just am not looking hard enough..
