Depends on the situation. In person I would much prefer cash. Though my bank is wonderful so a check is fine. Still a danger depending on who I am dealing with and the check could always be fake. So I guess I am back to cash!!

I think most people prefer cash, but most businesses will send checks. I don't mind that at all because I have a checking account. I think pay pal is the best because if they send the money I can electronically put it into my account. Therefore there is no need for me to go to the bank to put the check in my account. I can use my debit card to spend the money :). Have a nice day.

I don't even have a checking account so its cash for me. Even when I had an account I hardly ever used it. It would have been too easy for me to get into trouble with the checks. I have a savings account now. I also have a paypal debit card that I use for the money I get from working online.

My pay is automatically deposited into my checking account, and most of my bills are automatically transferred out of the account when they are due. I generally use the debit card to withdraw a small amount of cash, but I use my credit card throughout the month for most of my expenses. I always pay the credit card balance off in full every month, though. I find that I actually write very few checks anymore and need very little actual cash to carry around by doing things this way. A lot of my purchases are made online, and I can transfer money from my checking to PayPal or use the credit card.

Neither, but if forced to choose I would say check. Carrying cash is cumbersome and also leaves one set up for theft. I use my debit card for purchases. My paycheck is deposited to my bank automatically and then I have my bills autodrafted. If I need cash I go to the ATM and get it.

Alomost noone in my country uses checks anymore. It is very expensive, so it is hardly possible to rely on checks as a way to pay at a daily basis. Most everyone here uses debit visa cards to pay for purchases, or cash. I mostly use my card as i pay no fee using it instad of cash.

To be honest, I don't really care - they both mean money in my pocket. I guess cash is a bit more convenient because it's more liquid, but I have to put money in my bank account anyway to pay rent.

i always prefer cash but unfortunately it is not always possible to get it and big business will only ever deal in cheques or credits.

i think i have to pick checks. if i earned a lot of money example, i wouldnt have to worry about how much i may have lost. checks, its just one paper to take to the bank. its like all the money is in the little paper (check). but then cash, if you dont have time to make it to the bank and want to by something that dont accept checks or credit/debit cards, than thats where cash would be okay.
