would you adopt a puppy from a pound or buy from a petshop?

The number of stray dogs and cats are increasing, especially in south east Asia, If there is animal control present, it won't be on a regular basis, and if these dog pounds would put the dogs to "sleep" they would do it in the most inhumane way. there was one time where I've seen on T.V. that they would splash water on the dogs while on their cages, and then after that electrocute them. now would you rather buy a pure bred dog from a pet shop which costs hundreds of dollars, or adopt a similarly loving dog from a shelter? would you deny these creatures the care that they deserve?

i will adopt dogs from anywhere .you see in Indonesia , there is no dog pound. there are wild on the street and no body take care of them. they look for they food on the garbage. and not very healthy. but i rather adopt puppy so that i can train him to go to the toilet.

its the same here in the Philippines, there are dog pounds but they treat them cruelly, you should go on with your plan, the world will be a better place if people like you would show up and take action.

good choice, i hope you find a perfect dog for you, if you are from the Philippines why don't you come by to P.A.W.S. over at katipunan, they have lots of dogs there ready for a new home. and the people there makes sure that that the person who adopts them is responsible enough to take care of his/her new pet.

Pound becasue they are destoyed after a while and are usally cheaper than a pet shop. Also I've hear a lot of people sick pets in pet shops.

yeah i have heard of that, they sell you sick dogs for a great amount of money. some of my friends also said that these dogs are very aggressive because the shop keepers abuse them.

i like puppies very much but i want to pound a puppy but i wil buy a puppy so i like puppies very very very much and i want them to take care very much!

you want to pound a puppy?! that would be cruelty to animals my friend. ha ha! i am just kidding.i know what you mean. i hope there are a lot more people like you. you know how to value a life even if it pooped on your carpet, eats your shoes, and smells you with a very wet nose.ha ha! i hope you will find the puppy that you want.

i think i would rather adopt a puppy from a pound since they are not that much expensive and the puppies are usually cute and healthy than in the pet shop...the puppies are too sensitive and needs to be overly cared.I love puppies!!!
