Does any one else think that Spike's a really bad actor?!

Spike, I've noticed more and more lately, is a really really bad actor! He sucks at acting! I know that soap stars, most of the time, are not that great of actors, but he's jsut really bad! I don't know how anyone would even consider casting him in a role on television , especially one where's he's actually seen almost everyday, but I guess his looks fit the part and I suppose that's all that matters to them!

If this is about Passions,yes I agree but than we have Kay,Luis and a few others I won't name that I could do without

LOL Yeah, you're right there are a lot of actors in the show that also have bad acting skills, but for some reason Spike just sticks out the most to me! Maybe I've just gotten used to most of the others because they have been on the show longer and I've watched the soap since the beginning!

Oh I couldnt agree with you more. Then again THIS soap seems to have pulled some of the worst actors together for some awful story lines that take WAY to long to unfold. Who am I to criticize though? I still sit and watch every day

LOL I feel the same way and I still watch everyday, too! LOL We must have no lives to watch a show that's getting dumber and dumber everyday with crappy actors LOL. Oh well, we like it!!

I don't think Christopher Maleki, who plays Spike is to blame for the bad acting. The blame should be placed on James E. Reilly the writer of Passions. Keep in mind Christopher has been in many other shows and just finished a movie clearly the problem is the writer.

Well, I think that any actor with real talent would be able to pull off a bad script and make it look good. That's just my opinion. And yes, I think this writer is starting to go overboard and needs to put a little more effort into the shows turning points but I'm sure he's not the only writer working on the show so he can't be the only one to blame!
