1) DONT Smoke - Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigrarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher) very important.
2) DONT eat fruit immediately - Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. therefore take a fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1hr before meal.
3) DONT drink tea - Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. this substance will cause the protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest.
4) DONT loosen your belt- Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted and blocked.
5) DONT bathe ??? - Bathing will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs and body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.
6) DONT walk about - People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live til 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.
7) DONT sleep immediately - The food we intake will not be able to digest properly. thus will lead to gastric and infection in our intestine.

Very good post also add this one..don'tmakelove straight after eating..that's from daoist sources i have read lol..i hope you can add that one on..but maybe that goes under exercise lol. Very informative i willcopy and paste this and keep it..Thanks..

I have to say that just about all of those seem false. Why do people pass on bogus medical advice like this? Was this out of a chain letter?
1-Why would smoking after eating be any different if eating has nothing to do with your lungs?
2-Why would fruit cause your stomach to bloat after eating, eating fruits IS eating.
3-Why would acid make proteins HARDER? IF anything, they would make them softer. ANd tea isn't that acidic anyways.
4-Why would your intestines twist without a belt if you don't have a belt on naturally?
5-It will make blood run faster all over your body, so that doesn't make sense either.
6-Walking would add to teh metabolism of food, the opposite of what you said.
7-I have heard it is harder to digest if you are laying down but that is because of decreased metabolic rate.
Is there any scientific support for this or is it all just myth?

You've stated your point clearly.
This is actually one of the e-mail I just received today that made me pause for a moment and think if this is really true. Hoping to find more infomration and logic that will be given by other mylot user I hope could light up some bulb..

I dont understand number 4 about loosening your belt? What if you don't wear a belt?? I've heard the fruit one before but none of the others. Lol what are we supposed to do after a meal then, we cant have a bath, a walk or sleep. We just gotta sit there for a couple hours?
