It is often hard to find ways to save money when it comes to teens. Society has put a price tag on everthing that pertains to the teen years. Even craft are often geared towards kids or adults. Not much for teens to make that are interesting and in style. I found this wonderful site that has crafts that are just for teens. It is amazing and the projects are for things that are style. It has everything from how to instructions and supply list for:
Tank top beach bags
Bandana Tote Bag
Bandana Beach Bag
Decoupage Sneakers
Chenille Decorated Flip Flops
Sunglasses Holder
Caribbean Foot Jewelry
and so many more. This is just a wonderful site for teens and you can make these crafts as gifts for teens. They really are nice
The site can be found here:

I hope you and your teens will enjoy it.

I have used this site many times. I have not seen half the things available. They have so much on there! My Girl Scouts love crafts and although it can get expensive to do lots of them, This site has lots of crafts that are not real expensive.
I also recommend it for other ages as well. It is a site for all ages!

also maybe go to the thrift store where $100 will buy 20 items instead of just one

thats a very good idea. teens are the top consumers in our society, spending insane amounts of money a year on material things. to save money on clothing, i shopped at discount stores such as Rugged Warehouse, that had name brands that the big department stores didnt want anymore,or something like a small stain on the inside or missing button that you can sew on yourself. lots of the stuff i bought was like five to twenty dollars.and guess what! i was voted best dressed my senior year!

Yes, you are right it is very hard when it comes to our teenage children, teenagers very often get bored as there are just not enough things to keep them busy and amused. Dear this site looks very interesting it should be very good for them to find crafts that they could do that are tailored for the teenagers. Wow there are a lot of items that they can learn to make. I shall go and have a look thank you for the link.

What a great site-- My daughter is only 10-- but she looked with me and found alot of these crafts to be pretty neat! I can see us doing some of these in the near future. My daughter is very crafty! I agree that alot of crafts get expensive.. But I love to do them with her--

I have not visited this site yet.It sounds like a very good site for girls and even mothers who are creative and like handicrafts.
One of the best thing about making your own stuff is its uniqueness.
Thanks for the information villageanne.Would love to try it out.

What a great site! Thanks, my teen daughter will love trying some of these with her friends. She is very artsy and enjoys making things. Some of the things I see will be great for summer get-togethers and to make for her piano students as going away gifts. She will be leaving for college and they have to find a new piano teacher!

These are some great ideas, not just for teens though I have several grandchildren (under 10) that would like these also. Afraid my 15 year old son wouldn't care for any of these but his girlfriends would.
